A terrifying video filmed at the corner of 43rd Street and 10th Avenue, shared by a Twitter user named Jimmy Farring, showed the crane collapsing and hitting a glass residential skyscraper out front. That collision appeared to shatter the building’s windows, and then debris fell onto 10th Avenue as terrified commuters screamed and ran from the collapse.

It is unclear what caused the fire, and if anyone was injured. Another dramatic video shared on Twitter by podcast host Paula Pant showed the crane on fire before collapsing.
