Police have caught a 13-year-old boy who they say shot and killed a 20-year-old man earlier this month. Investigators said they were called to a shooting near McGregor and Colquitt streets in LaGrange on April 9. When officers arrived on scene, they said they found Davaris Lindsey with multiple gunshot wounds. He died two days later from his injuries. The LaGrange Police Department said it issued warrants for Jayden Gunsby, 13, for murder. The warrant says that he will be charged as an adult.

Jayden Gunsby arrested for killing Davaris Lindsey
LaGrange police arrested Gunsby shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday. Police say the 13-year-old boy wanted for murder in the fatal shooting of a man in a LaGrange neighborhood on Easter turned himself in to authorities Monday.

The LaGrange Police Department tells FOX 5 that officers found 20-year-old Davaris Lindsey shot multiple times when responding to a shooting in the 200 block of McGregor Street near Colquitt Street on Easter Sunday. Doctors took Lindsey to Wellstar West Georgia Medical for treatment before he was transported to a metropolitan area hospital in critical condition. On Wednesday, police say Lindsey died as a result of his injuries.
