A Cumberland man, Jeremy Konkler Jr., 32, has been charged with rape involving a child under the age of 10, according to Guernsey County Sheriff Jeffery Paden. Paden said his agents responded to a 911 call shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday, in reference to a sexual assault involving a young woman.

Jeremy Jr accused of raping a minor

During their preliminary investigation, officers learned that the male suspect was inside an adjacent residence. He was taken into custody, transported to the sheriff’s office, and then charged with rape of a child under 10, a first degree felony.

Principal Investigative Sgt. Bill Patterson said that after interviews, evidence gathering and consultations with medical staff and the prosecutor’s office, a case was likely established to charge Konkler.Read More……
