Madden Ohlwiler cause of death

The shocking incident took place on Sunday around 4:20 p.m. m. when crews were called to the intersection of Antonio Parkway and Oak Tree Lane in Las Flores. California Highway Patrol officials told FOX 11 Los Angeles that the car drove down the sidewalk “several hundred feet” before striking the family. Thanh Nguyen of the Orange County Fire Authority said the three members of the Ohlwiler family were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Lenihan, the driver of the Hyundai according to the report, was a resident of San Clemente, California. He was taken to the hospital and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. CHP officer Kinsey told the Daily Mail that Lenihan now faces vehicular manslaughter charges in Madden’s death. Lenihan was booked into the Orange County Jail in Santa Ana on Sunday night. A witness, Patricia Staes, described the scene on Facebook writing: “I witnessed a horrible accident. Two people were blown into the air. I provided assistance. Possible death.”

Friends and family are now asking the public for their support as the mother and father recover from the crash and the difficult road ahead. Part of that difficult road will include her son’s first birthday, which would have occurred on Friday, April 7. Kimmy wrote in a Facebook post: “They were hit from behind by a car and are in the hospital suffering serious injuries and emotional trauma. While the doctors did everything possible to help treat them, unfortunately baby Madden did not survive and returned with our celestial father”.
