Tim Bliefnick Wiki – Tim Bliefnick Biography

ILLINOIS: The former ‘Family Feud’ contestant who is accused of shooting his estranged wife to death in their home claims she may have been killed by a prowler. Timothy Bliefnick said the anonymous prowler was stalking his wife Rebecca Bleifnick’s neighborhood, but police never followed up on the information.

On February 23, Timothy was accused of killing his wife Rebecca Bleifnick (Becky), a 41-year-old nurse and mother of three, at her home in Quincy, Illinois. He was indicted in March for the murder. Becky was shot multiple times and discovered dead after she failed to pick up her children from her school.

We have come across evidence that suggests there were individuals lurking in the neighborhood in the week prior to the murder,” Timothy Bliefnick’s defense attorney Casey Schnack told Fox News on Friday. “To the best of our knowledge, the Quincy Police Department has never followed up to identify or even investigate the complaint. We are working with investigators to identify the person or people we have photos and video of.”

Tim Bliefnick accused of killing wife

Tim Bliefnick’s defense disputes the prosecution’s claim that the crime was committed as a result of domestic abuse. The case gained notoriety after Tim’s previous comments on ‘Family Feud’ resurfaced, where he joked about his wedding, saying that “I do” was the biggest mistake he ever made. The comment has raised suspicions about his involvement in Becky’s murder, with some speculating that he may have been premeditated.

Timothy and Rebecca were married in 2009. At the time of the murder, the couple was divorcing. Timothy and his father were the subject of a restraining order request made by the 41-year-old. Timothy has no criminal record, and none of the couple’s three children have been removed from their home due to domestic abuse, his attorney says.

A probate court ruled that Timothy could not use funds from his wife’s estate that was the subject of a divorce battle for his defense. Had the court ruled in Tim Bleifnick’s favor, the 39-year-old would have been able to hire a private investigator, according to his attorney.

“He was willing to sell his car to relieve some of the debt and put the rest in the hands of an investigator, but obviously he couldn’t because of the probate court order,” Schnack said. Schnack, however, revealed that the court gave $5,000 and the possibility of increasing that amount to hire a defense investigator. “If he was granted bail, he probably would have been able to work from home to generate his own income, but he was denied from the start,” Schnack said.Read More……
