An Alabama man is behind bars after being accused of shooting and killing his parents. Trinell Brown 25, allegedly admitted to the crime before witnesses, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. Deputies responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, officers located two victims inside the residence with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators believe Brown went to his parents’ residence to “confront them about an ongoing family dispute” before he allegedly shot and killed them.

The sheriff’s office did not specify what the argument was about, but said the investigation is ongoing Brown is charged with two counts of murder, according to online jail records. Trinell Brown accused of killing parents

To the. (WPMI) – A quiet neighborhood in Baldwin County, just outside the Spanish Fort city limits, was disrupted by the sound of gunshots Saturday. Trinell Brown, 25, is behind bars tonight after the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said he shot and killed his parents. “This part is usually a quiet area, so it’s absolutely shocking,” said Brandon McFarland, a neighbor.

According to preliminary information released by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Trinell Brown, the son of two deceased victims, allegedly went to his parents’ residence to confront them about an ongoing family dispute. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly shot and killed his parents. After the shooting, witnesses reported that Brown left the residence and confessed to the murders. Neighbors reported hearing more than half a dozen shots.

“The first one was extremely loud, more like a rifle, and then the subsequent shots seemed to come from some kind of rapid-fire pistol,” said Keith Kehoe, a neighbor. Brandon McFarland and his family were at home when the tragedy occurred. He says that when he heard the first shot, he immediately went to save the family from it.

“When I heard the first bang, I ran outside and asked what was going on and she said I think it was gunshots and we all just stood still and didn’t run,” Brandon McFarland said, “It sounded to me like it was about five or six gunshots. A hard hit right away, and then about 5-6 consecutive shots after that.”
