NEW YORK STATE: In a tragic car accident on Long Island, two teens were killed Wednesday night, May 3, after a drunk pickup driver crashed into their vehicle. According to Nassau County Police, Amandeep Singh was driving his 2019 Dodge Ram southbound in the northbound lanes of North Broadway in Jericho when he collided with a 2019 Alfa Romeo four-door sedan around 10:30 p.m. The car was carrying four male teenagers, whose identities have not yet been released by authorities.
The victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two teens in the car were hospitalized for internal injuries but are reported to be in stable condition. The teens’ vehicle then collided with a 2023 Volvo after being struck by Singh’s car. The Volvo was carrying a 49-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy, who were treated at the scene according to police.
