A mother of three was allegedly beaten to death by her estranged husband on Wednesday night. Amira Moghnieh was found unconscious and seriously injured inside Ahmad Hodroj’s home in Bexley, Sydney at around 6pm.

The 30-year-old man died a short time later, The Daily Telegraph reported. It is understood that she had visited Hodroj’s home to discuss custody arrangements for his children, who are between the ages of two and six.

Amira Moghnieh was killed by EX

Hodroj was arrested near the scene and charged with murder. On Thursday, he appeared in Sutherland Local Court, where he did not apply for bail. He will appear in court again in August.

The couple are believed to have separated about a year ago and were divorcing, according to Daily Mail Australia. A former colleague of Hodroj’s, who worked for a company employed by Qantas, said he was “very shocked” to hear the news. “His wife used to bring him lunch at work. She sometimes shared it. She was a good cook,” he said.

Tributes to Ms. Moghnieh, singer and dancer, were left online. “May your soul rest in heaven my love,” wrote one. “You will always be remembered in our hearts forever,” said another. Investigations into the death of Ms. Moghnieh continue.Read More…….
