Angel Lynn Wiki – Angel Lynn Biography

Shocking scans have revealed the cracks left in the skull of a young woman after she was kidnapped by her abusive ex-boyfriend and fell headfirst onto a highway from a pickup truck traveling at 60 mph. Angel Lynn, then 19, was kidnapped by her abusive ex-boyfriend Chay Bowskill, then 20, in September 2020.

He put her in a van in Rothley, Leicestershire, and drove off with her. Angel, now 22, suffered catastrophic brain injuries that nearly killed her when she fell headfirst from the van moving at 60mph on the A6 near Loughborough.

Bowskill claimed Angel had fallen or jumped out of the truck, but her mother, 48-year-old Nikki Lynn, believes she was pushed, even though he suffered no serious bodily harm. Angel was left paralyzed and unable to eat, walk or speak on her own. Sick CT scans have revealed the extent of her injuries that left her skull fractured.

In footage from Channel 4’s The Kidnap of Angel Lynn, consultant neurosurgeon Stuart Smith said it was clear she sustained “very serious” injuries. Scans suggest she was left with two fractures: one on the top of her skull and on the left side of her face, and another on her forehead and eye socket. Another CT scan showed how Angel’s nose, eye socket and cheeks were injured from her fall.

Angel Lynn kidnapped by her abusive ex-boyfriend

During the Channel 4 show, viewers were shown dozens of abusive text messages from her controlling ex-boyfriend in which she called her a “stupid c***”, “b****” and “little scum divvy”. Angel’s father, Patrick, 53, said Angel had initially denied that she was dating Bowskill. He said: ‘She must have been ashamed of him because she wasn’t a nice boy.

‘She was my angel. She’s just daddy’s girl. Her mother, Nikki, 48, said: ‘He was texting all the time. Message, message, message: the whole time his phone was on. ‘Wherever he went, she went with him. ‘At that age you can’t say, ‘You can’t do this.’ She had her own car, you can’t punish her.

I felt powerless. Through tears, Nikki said the hardest part of finding out how abusive the relationship was was “knowing that he hurt her.” Speaking about the kidnapping that left her daughter paralyzed, she added: ‘They said she was rolling down the road like a football. I think he pushed her out of the van.

Bowskill was cleared of causing grievous bodily harm after it became unclear how Angel had left the van. However, in January 2022, he received a seven and a half year sentence after being found guilty of kidnapping, coercive and controlling behavior and perversion of the course of justice, following a trial at Leicester Crown Court.

His sentence was then nearly doubled after senior Appeals Court judges concluded that his original sentence for the kidnapping was not long enough and gave him an additional four and a half years. Sansome received 21 months. Bowkill’s sentence was later increased to 12 years, although Sansome’s was left unchanged. Bowskill, from Syston, Leicestershire, was also convicted of coercive and controlling behavior and perverting the course of justice.Read More……
