A man has reportedly been accused of murdering a Dollar Tree employee with a machete inside the Upper Sandusky, Ohio store on New Year’s Day. Officers arrested 27-year-old Bethel M Bekele several blocks after she fled the scene when authorities arrived.

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, a call was made to the police reporting a man inside the store brandishing a firearm. When police arrived at the site, a 22-year-old employee, Keris L Riebel, was discovered dead.

According to investigations, the attacker entered the store, walked up to Riebel and used a machete to hit her repeatedly.

Winston Glynn was arrested in Brooklyn after an extensive citywide manhunt following the murder of Kristal Bayron-Nieves at the East Harlem Burger King, where he previously worked.
