Billy Bennett Adams III, 25, known as Ace NH, was arrested Wednesday, February 8 on related charges. with the death of 22-year-old Alana Sims, who was found dead on January 30, 2022, next to her pickup truck, in which her 23-month-old baby was sleeping.

Billy Bennett Adams accused of killing girl friend

Adams initially gave conflicting accounts to investigators and claimed that he did not believe in the father of Sims’ unborn child. He claimed that he was home on the night of January 30 and did not know that she was dead. The rapper, who recorded three albums, two EPs and several singles, soon changed his statement and claimed that he was at his friend’s house but not near the scene of the crime. Adams admitted that he knew that Sims was pregnant and that he was her father. “Less days after he was acquitted of a separate offense, our murder suspect did the unthinkable when he killed an innocent woman and her unborn child,” said Lee Bercaw, acting Tampa police chief, adding: “I hope that this arrest puts some closure on the matter.” the victim’s family, who are mourning the loss of two loved ones. He told the jury of six men and six women that he saw Albury pointing a gun at Meeks, who was working on his computer at the time.

Adams said he shot Albury in self-defense and killed Thompson when he jumped on his gun.
