Scott allegedly sold Pauley’s fetuses, brains and hearts

According to police records, Scott wrote to Pauley in her first Facebook message: “Just curious, would you know anyone in the market for a fully intact embalmed brain?” Scott allegedly sold Pauley’s fetuses, brains, hearts, lungs, genitalia, large chunks of skin, and other body parts over the course of the next nine months. According to the indictment, Scott allegedly offered a discount on the sale of the remains of a fetus in one case because “it’s not in very good condition.”

Scott allegedly promised Pauley “2 brains, one with a cap, 3 hearts, a cut, 2 fake babies, a big chunk of belly button skin, [an] arm, a big chunk of skin, and a lung” for $1,600 in another communication dated December 2, 2021, according to the indictment. The same day, Pauley sent Scott a payment of $1,600 via PayPal.

According to the indictment, Scott received $10,975 through 16 different PayPal transfers. According to the prosecution, Scott should be in prison until her trial. On Friday, April 28, Assistant District Attorney Amanda Jegley warned Magistrate Judge J Thomas Ray that Scott might abscond if she faced a lengthy prison sentence.

Jegley said: “I think the facts… underlying the indictment and indictment are uniquely egregious and objectionable and we believe there will be significant public outcry as a result of this,” ABC reported. The claims against Scott, according to Ray, are “shocking and depraved.” However, since Scott is not considered dangerous, the judge can only order him to stay in jail if doing so poses a flight risk.

Ray said: “The prosecution alleges horribly egregious conduct, outrageous conduct. But under the Bail Reform Act, those are not factors that I consider for dangerousness or the community’s risk toward dangerousness, so I’m The only thing I see here that would support an arrest request is obviously the flight risk.”

After receiving complaints last year about Pauley, Pennsylvania officials learned of the transactions. In Pennsylvania, Pauley is charged with misdemeanor assault, receiving stolen property while committing a crime, receiving stolen property while committing a misdemeanor, and dealing in the proceeds of illegal activities. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 7 and he is out on bail, according to reports.Read More……
