CALIFORNIA: A suspect has been arrested in connection with three stabbings at a California college town. The attack left two men dead and a woman seriously injured. Police have now arrested former UC Davis student Carlos Dominguez, 21, just a block from where a student was killed last week.

The first attack took place on April 27 when David Breaux, a homeless man, was found on a bench near the UC Davis campus. He had been “stabbed many times.” The second attack took place on April 29 when Karim Abou Najm, 20, a UC Davis senior, was stabbed to death while returning home from an undergraduate awards ceremony. Carlos Dominguez stabbing 2 men to death

Not much is known about Dominguez at this time, except that on Thursday, May 4, he was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He has been booked into the Yolo County Jail, police said. “The behavior was quite unusual in a circumstance like this. The man who first saw Dominguez in a park told the Davis Enterprise: “He looked me in the eye and came towards me quite quickly. He was walking aimlessly, which I found strange.” Prior to the suspect’s arrest, he had described him as “a light-skinned male, possibly Hispanic, 5’6″ to 5’9″ tall, 19 to 23 years of age, with long flowing hair and curly”. Isaac Chessman, who lived in a neighboring tent, said he and his partner, Christine Berrios, heard a woman scream for help.
