There are few details about the latest incident in the United States. However, local media at the scene and eyewitnesses have confirmed that at least six deaths occurred during an event organized by a dance studio. Six people are believed to have been killed and 14 others injured in the gruesome attack at the Mahogany Masterpiece dance class in Tallapoosa County, according to The Mirror.

Dadeville mass shooting during 16-year-old’s birthday party

Authorities have yet to confirm the number of deaths at the scene, however local broadcaster Elizabeth White claimed that more than 20 people had been shot. A gruesome snapshot of the incident showed that at least six teenagers who had been tragically shot were lying on the ground. Some of those who had been injured had died during the altercation.


Another eyewitness to the horrific massacre claimed to have seen more than six corpses covered in white blankets, raising the possibility that there were more victims than initially thought. The Tallapoosa County Coroner’s Office has confirmed multiple deaths from the incident. As authorities described what happened during the shooting to witnesses and local media, relatives of the dead could be heard screaming near the scene, the Daily Star reported.

According to a witness, the shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. during the birthday celebration. Some victims are receiving medical care in hospitals, according to reports. However, authorities have yet to provide an update on the victims of the shooting, injured or dead.

The suspect’s identity, whereabouts and motive are unknown, however, according to WRBL, the shooting was the result of a rumored altercation. Other law enforcement agencies have been assisting the Dadeville Police Department in investigating the case. The bodies involved are the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Bureau of Investigation and the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office.


Meanwhile, fire was fired on a crowd of hundreds of people gathered in a Louisville park that same night, leaving two dead and four wounded. Police have yet to release any information about the suspects or how many shooters were present.
