Daniel Edward Rawlins Wiki – Daniel Edward Rawlins Biography

A 39-year-old Braselton man, identified as Daniel Edward Rawlins, was arrested by Hall County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for the murder of his parents.

The victims, Leanette Rawlins and William Rawlins, were found unconscious at their home on Union Church Road by a relative who had come to visit. Agents arrived at the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. and discovered that both victims had already died. Daniel Rawlins, who lived in an apartment on the property, was not present when authorities arrived.

Daniel Edward Rawlins accused of killing his parents

An investigation using Flock cameras showed that Daniel Rawlins was driving near Interstate 85 in Braselton. The search for him led officers to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, where they evacuated the hotel before arresting him in a hotel room without incident. The Braselton Police Department, a unit of the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia State Patrol assisted with the effort at the hotel.

The bodies of the victims were sent to the GBI crime lab for autopsy, but the suspected cause of their deaths has not been released at this time. Daniel Rawlins has been charged with two counts of felony manslaughter in connection with his deaths.Read More…..
