GEORGIA: An active shooter is reported in the Atlanta region, after he allegedly opened fire near a hospital on Wednesday, May 3. According to authorities, one person died and several others suffered injuries. The “active and fluid situation” was underway at 1110 W Peachtree St NW, which includes Northside Hospital Medical Midtown and other medical facilities in the center of a bustling business and residential district. The officials confirmed that no arrests have yet been made and that massive forces were deployed in a search operation for both the suspect and the victims.
