Police in Daytona Beach, Florida, have announced that actor and singer Jared Drake Bell, 36, is “considered missing and endangered.” His last known whereabouts were near a high school Wednesday night. He should be traveling in a gray 2022 BMW and his last known location is potentially the Mainland High School area on 4/12/2023 just before 9pm. the Daytona Beach Police Department wrote in a Facebook post Thursday.

Bell, best known for the Nickelodeon sitcom “Drake & Josh,” pleaded guilty in June 2021 to attempting to endanger children and disseminating material harmful to minors. He appeared before an Ohio court in a remote appearance. Shortly after, he performed an online concert while apparently in the same room as before and wearing what appeared to be the same T-shirt.

He was sentenced to probation the following month. That hearing was controversial as the victim made other accusations and called him a “pedophile.” The young woman, identified in court documents as her S.G., claimed that he sexually abused her but did not rape her because he was menstruating. Bell was seen mouthing the word “What?” “Don’t look at me like that,” she told him. The young woman, who was 19 at the time of the hearing, said they met when she was 12 and that her aunt took her to meet Bell from that age until she was 15.

She said they had communicated many times online and that she had confided in him about her mental health issues. “I felt protected and loved by him,” she said. But those interactions allegedly took on a sexual tone, with a change coming when he was 15, she said. According to the accuser, Bell told him that he was “hot” and they exchanged sexual photos. She described him forcing her to engage in sexual activity at a concert on December 1, 2017, and the next day in her hotel room.

Bell’s attitude toward these accusations was made abundantly clear when he appeared on remote video. He often seemed incredulous, crossing his arms, shaking his head and expressing denial of him. The young woman called out her attitude in court when she described an incident when she was 15 years old and he asked her how old she was. “Then she told me to quote, ‘Hurry up,’ [and get old],” she said before referring to him directly: “Don’t smile at me.”

Bell’s attorney, Ian Friedman, denied the allegations outside the scope of the guilty plea. The actor had pleaded guilty only to attempting to endanger a child and disseminating material harmful to minors. Bell accepted responsibility for the chats that occurred between him and the victim, the attorney said. Friedman interpreted the “hurry up” exchange as a sign of his client’s intent not to get involved with a minor.

However, those [sexual] chats, as harmful as they were, clearly damaged this person at the time,” Friedman said in court. “Indeed, however, your honor, they did not imitate any of the factual scenarios that the victim has mentioned here today.” Bell made a brief statement at the hearing. Friedman said he advised his client to be brief because of the possibility of civil litigation.

“Your honor from him, I just want to say today that I accept this statement because my conduct was wrong,” Bell said. “I am sorry that the victim was harmed in any way, which was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very, very seriously and again I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions.”Read More…….
