It’s unclear if Huntley pleaded guilty to the charges or if she has hired an attorney to comment on her behalf. A judge set his bail at $1.25 million. “I’m still in shock. It feels like a dream. It’s like a nightmare to wait to wake up from,” Cameron Hardeman, Jeremiah’s uncle who was in the house at the time of the shooting, told KXAS.

“He was an honor roll student, very smart,” Hardeman added of the fifth grader. “Very good at soccer. He liked karate, he said he wanted to play soccer when he was older.” “I had dreams; I couldn’t wait to grow up,” he continued, according to the outlet. “I’m pretty sure he would have followed every one of them too. It’s a tragedy that he was taken from us too soon.”
