A University of Arkansas employee is accused of sexually abusing a minor, allegedly taking advantage of him while they were at her friend’s apartment in Rogers, Arkansas. Stephanie Gueck Neipling, 42, is facing one count of fourth-degree sexual assault, records show.

The Rogers Police Department received a direct call on July 11, 2023, according to the partially redacted probable cause affidavit. The call concerned a person, whose identity is redacted, having “sexual relations” with Neipling. The victim said that she was with Neipling at a residence on July 8 and she sexually assaulted him.

“[REDACTED] stated later that night that Stephanie had sent her a message via Snapchat telling her that she could come to her apartment next to her friend because she was there alone,” authorities said. She reached out and another sexual assault encounter occurred, she told investigators in the affidavit.

Charges on Stephanie Gueck Neipling

On July 9, Neipling allegedly sent the victim nude photos of her and wrote her sexual messages. She asked him about her experience the night before, authorities said. Cops said they interviewed Neipling on Thursday. After being told she was free to go and under no obligation to speak to him, Neipling at first allegedly denied the allegations but, in the words of the affidavit, “admitted to having sexual relations” with a person, whose identity is redacted.

She allegedly said that they had a meeting at her friend’s apartment. The minor is said to have left the apartment after that. Later, the friend left the apartment and the minor returned. Neipling and the victim engaged in further illicit sexual activity. “Stephanie admitted to later sending [redacted] nude chest photos of her,” they said.

Court records show that Neipling’s husband is divorcing her and is seeking sole custody of their two children. He cites “abuse of a minor” as one of the reasons he is leaving her, according to the filing dated Friday, a day after her arrest. The defendant faces one count of fourth degree sexual assault. Bail is set at $50,000.

The University of Arkansas website has previously referred to Neipling as Associate Director of External Relations for the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences. His profile page was removed from the website during the writing of this article.Read More…….
