Andrei Kisliak allegedly fatally stabbed his wife, two daughters and a relative before committing suicide on Wednesday, November 30. According to the Daily Mail, the shocking deaths appear to stem from a domestic incident that took place two months after his wife filed a protection order against Andrei in September, according to court records.

Andrei Kisliak, the alleged killer behind the deaths of his wife Vera Kisliak, 36, his daughters Vivian Kisliak and Amilia Kisliak, 6 and 4, and their relative Lilia Kisliak, 67, committed suicide after stabbing them.
The Daily Mail reports that during a press conference on December 1, while confirming the names of the deceased, police stated that all four victims died of serious “acute injuries”. Officers also discovered a dead animal inside the home. Sources for the Lake McHenry Scanner say the 39-year-old killed himself after stabbing his wife, daughters and relatives.
At the press conference, the officers explained that they found the five dead while conducting a health check. They were called around 11:10 a.m. m. to a home in the northwestern suburb for a wellness check on a woman who said she had missed work for a scheduled shift.
When officers arrived at the location, they were unable to contact anyone at the home. On November 30, Illinois’ Village of Buffalo Grove announced on Twitter that “Forcible Entry Deemed Necessary Home Sweep Conducted.” It was at this point that officers found all five family members dead.
Buffalo Grove Department Chief Brian Budds stated at the December 1 press conference, “Today is a very sad day for our community as we continue to process this unthinkable event.”

The Lake County Circuit Court Clerk’s representative referred to the multiple cases filed against Andrei in the past as closed. He also told the Chicago Tribune that some of Andrei’s court records are not available at this time.
During the December 1 press conference, Chief Budds thanked officers from the Buffalo Grove Police and Fire Departments for their “service and dedication in handling this traumatic investigation.” “I would also like to thank the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force in conjunction with the Lake County Coroner’s Office for their invaluable assistance with this investigation which remains active and ongoing,” he added.
