A 1-year-old Arizona girl died after while moving her car near the family home, police said. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received a call Thursday from a woman who said she “had run over her 13-month-old baby with her car,” police said.

The girl, identified by the Daily Mail as 13-month-old Cyra Rose Thoeming, was with her mother outside the family’s Cottonwood home when the tragedy struck. The woman had placed her daughter in the car seat in an area where she believed her daughter was safe while she was moving her vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.

“While she was repositioning the vehicle, the front tire caught the car seat canopy, causing it to fall backwards, resulting in serious injuries to the infant,” the sheriff’s office wrote. Cyra was rushed to a local hospital, but she could not be saved. Her mother has not been charged and investigators with the sheriff’s office continue to investigate her death.

The girl’s uncle described her as “a light in the world who brought smiles to everyone she met.” “In her short, beautiful life, she loved being outdoors, nature, playing with her family, animals and water,” he wrote on the page. “There’s no one who hasn’t smiled bigger after spending just a moment with her.”Read More……..
