TEXAS: Five people, including a nine-year-old boy, were killed on the night of April 29 in their Texas home by a 38-year-old neighbor, Francisco Oropesa, who was armed with an AR-15-style rifle. Oropesa allegedly opened fire on the neighbors after one complained that the sound of gunshots would not let a baby sleep, according to Today. The boy’s father narrated the details saying, “So we went and told the man to please stop shooting or keep shooting further from the house. But he responded by saying that he was on his property and that he could do whatever he wanted. I said, ‘Okay, okay. It’s his property, but could he move further away or turn it down? That’s all. Then he started insulting us and we told him we were going to call the police”.
“We went in and my wife was talking to the police, and we called five times because he was being more threatening. We saw him, he was coming off his property and he cocked his gun. I told my wife to come in because she cocked his gun and he might come threaten us.
