Dax Tejera’s cause of death

Police received a 911 call at 11 p.m. about “neglected children” at 50 Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan, which is home to the members-only Yale Club hotel. They learned that “a two-year-old girl and a five-month-old girl were left alone inside a hotel room for an extended period of time.” The children’s ages match those of Tejera’s daughters, and police did not provide their names. According to the police, Verónica Tejera received a desk ticket that required her to appear in court.

The Yale Club is an exclusive club for Yale University alumni. It has rooms that range in size from affordable studios to opulent 556-square-foot suites. Police have not released any information about Veronica or the living arrangements of her children.
