Diego Barria Wiki – Diego Barria Biography
CHUBUT, ARGENTINA: The remains of an Argentine man, who had been missing for fifteen days, were found inside the belly of a shark. Diego Barria 32, disappeared on February 18 after driving his all-terrain vehicle along the coast of the Chubut province in southern Argentina. The gruesome discovery occurred on Sunday, February 26, at around 8:30 a.m., when two fishermen were cleaning three schools of sharks that they caught near where Barra’s ATV was located.
The father-of-three’s family identified him based on a tattooed arm found inside the shark. An officer said DNA tests will be conducted while they investigate Barria’s death. His wrecked ATV was discovered by a search team near Rocas Coloradas on February 20. They also found his helmet dented and broken near his chin, the DailyMail reported.
“I was so unlucky that I found it myself,” said one of the fishermen, according to Diario Jornada, adding: “I went fishing and opened the shark’s belly and found a forearm with a tattoo.” Barra’s family was able to confirm his identity thanks to the pink, green and red tattoo on his forearm that read “Josefina.” He was last seen going for a walk in the countryside at 10:30 p.m. on February 18. He reportedly greeted three of his friends, who were fishermen, and another stranger, who was the last to see him alive.

Civil Protection Undersecretary José Mazeei said detectives had been investigating Barra’s mysterious disappearance. Mazeei mentioned that they had two hypotheses. One suggested that Barra was injured in an accident, while the other suggested that he was asleep on the beach when the tides washed his body into the water.
Police have also been investigating whether any other vehicles were involved in the accident. Cristian Ansaldo, Comodoro Rivadavia police chief, informed local media that a DNA test will be carried out to determine if the person is Barra. Virginia Brugger, Barra’s grieving widow, posted a photo of the two smiling on her Facebook page the day her remains were found. She wrote the caption in Spanish, which translates to “My heart went with you! I love you forever.”Read More….
