Dylan McPadden Wiki – Dylan McPadden Biography
Friends of the 26-year-old man Dylan McPadden who was allegedly stabbed in the chest in a shocking 90-second bar fight have shared their heartbreak over his sudden death. Emergency services responded to RQ’s tavern on the Gold Coast, Australia, at around 10:15 p.m. m. Thursday, after it was reported that a man had been stabbed.
The young man was rushed to the hospital with an inch-wide stab wound to the chest, but he would die in the hospital within the hour. 26-year-old Nerang resident Dylan McPadden has been identified as the victim. Just days before the attack, Mr McPadden had written on social media about how pleased he was at what would turn out to be his last tragic post.
His friends have flooded social media with tributes, sharing their disbelief that his life ended in such a violent way. “He was such a unique, curious, open and friendly person…” a friend wrote in a Facebook post. “I saw no evidence, far from it, of someone with violent impulses… such a pointless waste.”
“My heart breaks. If anyone had the opportunity to meet Dylan in his short life, they would know that he was the funniest, happiest person who could instantly light up a room,” said a third friend. Acting Detective Inspector Mark Proctor said on Friday morning that the incident took about 90 seconds to unfold and that the alleged offender arrived at the tavern only moments before. “The man has arrived at the tavern, in the company of a woman, and he has started an argument,” he said. “He pulled out a knife and stabbed the person once in the chest,” Proctor claimed.

How Dylan McPadden was died?
In addition, he alleged that “punching was thrown” before the knife was drawn. Police believe the suspected offender is understood to have fled the scene in a red Nissan Navara pickup truck, still armed with a knife, and in the company of the woman police understand to be his girlfriend. As it was close to closing time, police said there were very few witnesses, but the alleged victim had been having a drink with a couple of friends. “Obviously, they’re traumatized,” Detective Proctor said.
Tavern staff helped treat the man while he waited for paramedics to arrive. Emergency services found the injured 26-year-old Nerang man suffering from an inch-wide stab wound to the chest. He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital, however he died later that night around 11pm.
Investigations led police to a Mermaid Beach motel where they arrested a 26-year-old man shortly after 2 a.m. Since then he has been charged with murder. “It’s too easy to lose your life over something that may have only been a minor altercation until someone pulls out a knife,” Detective Proctor said.
“That’s what knife crime does, it destroys lives and it will ruin the lives of suspects as well.” Police seized several knives from the property and they will be forensically examined to determine if they were used in the alleged incident. Detective Proctor said the knives were the kind one would expect to find in a motel room.
It is understood that the man is known to police and does not reside at a fixed address. It is not yet known if the alleged offender and the victim knew each other before the fatal incident, but all three people on the scene are locals to the area. Detective Proctor said the couple had checked into the motel room earlier that day. The woman has been helping police with their investigations of her.Read More…….
