Hunter Antonino Wiki – Hunter Antonino Biography

A man who was severely beaten over Memorial weekend by a mob of up to 40 teenagers on a California beach said he identified himself as a Marine and “they moved on.” Hunter Antonino had been quietly enjoying his time away from Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base with two other people when the wild altercation broke out in San Clemente. Antonino said the confrontation began when he told the teens to stop setting off fireworks after debris from the explosive devices hit him in the face.

A terrifying video posted online showed two victims curled up in a fetal position on the ground as the crowd continued to kick them, hurling profanity and racial slurs. A third Marine was also attacked but is not shown in the images. The men suffered minor injuries and refused to be transported to a local hospital afterward, Orange County sheriff’s deputies say.

Police are investigating the gruesome attack and the unknown teens could soon face charges of assault with a deadly weapon for the beating. In the roughly minute-long video posted to Facebook, plainclothes Marines are seen trying to climb the steps outside the Pier Bowl as a group of teenagers yelled at them.

As they approached the stairs, a teenager was seen viciously beating the back of the head of one of the Marines. The Marine is then seen turning and charging at the assailant, leading to an all-out brawl, as the teen’s friends jumped in to punch and kick him.

Within seconds, the group surrounded the two Marines chanting “Get that son of a bitch” and “Fuck that son of a bitch,” even using the N-word at one point. As the cameraman got closer to the unfolding scene, two of the victims were seen huddled on the ground as the group continued to beat them with vicious kicks.

The fight only came to an end after two bystanders, an unknown man and woman, intervened and yelled at the children: ‘Stop, what are you doing?’ It’s unclear what happened before the video, but Antonino told KCAL that he had politely asked the teens to calm down.

“They were setting off fireworks, they were being belligerent and nasty and annoying other people, so I went up to them and told them to stop,” he recounted. But the group followed him to the pier, at which point Antonio said that he and his friend warned the teenage Marines “to leave, but they didn’t.”Read More…..
