A 15-year-old girl who lived at the address also suffered non-life-threatening injuries to her and she is recovering at the hospital, police said. Their relationship was not immediately clear. While details about what led up to the murders were unclear, multiple sources told WPRI that earlier this week Harrison was caught looking through a neighbor’s window.

Police were called to Harrison’s home after around midnight Tuesday, but he refused to open the door, police and sources told the outlet. A neighbor reported hearing a loud bang around 7:30 AM. m. Johnston Police Chief Mark Vieira said his department responded to two 911 calls for gunshots around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, one of which came from 2 Ligian Court. Police quickly issued a notice for officers to be on the lookout for Harrison, and an off-duty officer spotted his vehicle parked in a cemetery.

When officers arrived, Harrison “drove toward these police officers head-on in their vehicles, nearly hitting them,” said Police Chief Michael Winquist of neighboring Cranston. “A chase ensued after that incident.” Police followed Harrison on Plainfield Pike, where he allegedly drove wild and even struck a Cranston police cruiser before jumping over the center median and hitting a rock, police said.

He was quickly surrounded by police officers who told him to get out of the vehicle. After several minutes, he came out and pointed a firearm at the officers, who then shot and killed him. It appears no officers were injured, though some were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.Read More……
