James Ray III accused of killing GF

According to a press release from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Ray was convicted last month of first-degree murder and weapons offenses in connection with the death of Angela Bledsoe, 44, who was killed inside her Montclair house in 2018. Ray grew up in Brooklyn and spent two years as a New York City police officer before attending law school, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. He also served in the US Navy.
