Jayden Robker Wiki – Jayden Robker Biography

Gladstone police confirmed Sunday that 13-year-old Jayden Robker who had been reported missing for more than a month in Northland, Kansas City, was found dead Friday.

Police found Jayden’s body Friday morning in a pond near North Broadway and Northwest Englewood Road, about a mile from where he lived. While police waited until Sunday to officially identify the body pending autopsy results, family members said Friday that police had told them the body matched his description.

Authorities said initial autopsy results did not indicate overt signs of foul play, but Gladstone police are still investigating. “Officers from both agencies extend their deepest condolences to Jayden’s family,” Gladstone Police Capt. Karl Burris said in a news release.

Jayden Robker found dead

Jayden was last seen on February 2 at Northwest Plaza Drive and Northwest Plaza Avenue. Relatives said he came home from school, grabbed his electric skateboard and drove off. No one in the family had seen him since then, they said.

Officials released a press release four days after Jayden’s disappearance. His mother, Heather Robker, and a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department said part of the reason it wasn’t immediately released was because they couldn’t find a current photo of Jayden.

Capt. Corey Carlisle, a KCPD spokesman, said police began searching for the teen immediately after he was reported missing, despite a delay in notifying the public. Last Sunday, dozens of people attended a campaign event organized by the Ad Hoc Group Against Crime to raise awareness about Jayden’s disappearance. And on Wednesday, the FBI offered a $5,000 reward for anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts.

Days later, his body was discovered less than a mile from his home and near the QuickTrip, where he was last seen on surveillance video after using the bathroom. In an interview with The Star on Saturday, Robker said the news of her son’s death devastated her.Read More…..
