Jordin Miranda Castillo Wiki – Jordin Miranda Castillo Biography

A young mother Jordin Miranda Castillo was shot dead after police allege her ex-boyfriend broke into her third-floor apartment and opened fire on people inside. Glendale, Arizona police identified the suspect as Ruben Xavier Rocha. Rocha, 22, has been charged with murder, robbery and aggravated assault, police say. He turned himself in to authorities Monday. It is unclear if Rocha has pleaded guilty to the charges or has hired an attorney to comment on her behalf.

According to police, Rocha allegedly violated a restraining order and forced his way into Jordin Miranda Castillo’s apartment, following a “social media disturbance” between the couple on Sunday. Rocha is the father of Castillo’s child, authorities say. Rocha allegedly fired, hitting 20-year-old Jordin and two other people in the apartment at the time.

“She was one of the strongest women I have ever known,” his brother, Elijah Castillo, said during a news conference Monday. Castillo leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter who police say was present but unharmed during the shooting. A witness took the boy into the bathroom moments before the violence, police say.
