Justin Edison, Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard and crucial witness in the case against Tory Lanez, has ‘disappeared’ before his court appearance. Lanez is currently being sued for assault after being accused of shooting Stallion in the foot in 2020. Edison was due to testify in the case next week.

In a statement shared with TMZ on Saturday, Dec. 17, Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, confirmed the news. “We recently learned that Justin Edison disappeared just before his court appearance,” Spiro said, adding, “The LAPD is currently investigating his disappearance and welcomes any information about his whereabouts.

However, Edison has not yet been listed as a missing person, a department spokesperson said. Asked if it was wrong to say that the police were looking for Edison, the spokesman replied: “Yes, because it makes him look like a criminal.
