Laurel Aldridge Wiki – Laurel Aldridge Biography

A body has been found in the search for The Office star Mackenzie Crook’s missing sister-in-law, Laurel Aldridge. Sussex Police confirmed the discovery after an 11-day search for Laurel Aldridge 62, who disappeared from her home on February 14. She was caught by her doorbell as she was leaving her home in Walberton, West Sussex, but the alarm went off after she missed a scheduled chemotherapy session. Mrs Aldridge was last seen later that day at Slindon Cricket Club, some two and a half miles away.

In a statement, police said: “Unfortunately, the body of a female was found in the Tortington Lane area of Arundel. “At this time, the family of the missing Laurel Aldridge has been informed and we are trying to confirm the woman’s identity.” After Ms Aldridge went missing, Mr Crook, best known for her roles in The Office, Pirates Of The Caribbean and Worzel Gummidge, called on the public to keep an eye out for her in the West Sussex area.

Speaking this week, he said: ‘She left the house with nothing but what she was wearing, no keys or phone. She has not been seen since. “Her’s. He missed her fifth chemotherapy session last Tuesday and we think that’s what has triggered some kind of meltdown in her and she’s gone for a long walk somewhere in hers.” “We’re really holding on to a straw now after a week,” she told ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Crook, whose wife Lindsay is Ms Aldridge’s sister, also told ITV that her disappearance was “very out of character” and her family was “obviously very concerned”. She said she had seen “nothing but determination and stoicism” from the family during the search.

“Everyone has come together and is motivated to try to get Laurel back safely,” she said. “Right now, everyone is holding back her emotions, I’m sure there will be a time for that later, but right now everyone is very determined and motivated.” “We have a strong suspicion that she is in the local area, but that is just a hunch that we are following.”

We can’t imagine that she has gone very far. Missing signs were posted on utility poles, tree trunks, and windows throughout Walberton. Mr Crook previously urged the public to check her grounds and grounds for places where Ms Aldridge may have sought refuge overnight.

Photos released by police during the search showed Aldridge wearing a turquoise fleece, a maroon tartan scarf and a brown hat the morning she disappeared. A full-scale police investigation had been carried out into her disappearance, with officers conducting house-to-house inquiries and specialized search dogs deployed. A police helicopter, drones and specialized equipment were also used.

Chief Superintendent Howard Hodges said earlier: ‘We would like to thank the public for the information they have provided us so far. “Our officers have been working around the clock following multiple lines of investigation and are determined to find Laurel. “We are working closely with Laurel’s family, offering support and providing regular updates on the investigation.”Read More…..
