Michael Mathews charged with attempted murder

The landlord said he would ask a friend to force them out if they didn’t leave in 10 minutes, FOX 35 Orlando reported.

About 15 minutes later, the landlord came back and demanded again that they leave. That’s when Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputies say Mathews pulled out a gun and began waving it around, telling the owner to leave.

As the landlord turned to leave the room,  he allegedly shot him, hitting him in the clavicle area.

The report says Mathews later said he was “tired of the way he was treated and disrespected at home,” saying the landlord kicked his girlfriend as she approached him in the bedroom. .

The owner was not armed and did not threaten violence with a weapon, authorities say. Investigators consider the shooting unjustified. Mathews was booked into the Seminole County Jail, where he also faces a charge of possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.Read More….
