LOUISIANA: The body of Georgia man Nathan Millard who disappeared during a 24-hour business trip to Louisiana, has been found. Nathan’s body was found on Scenic Highway in Louisiana, according to a Baton Rouge police report Monday morning, March 6. The cause of death has yet to be determined. On Thursday, February 23, Millard, a married father of five who works as a construction manager, flew to Louisiana on a business trip. He was last seen leaving Happy’s Irish Pub after watching a Louisiana State University basketball game with a customer from work.
“Nathan Millard, 42, was found dead this morning around 3:34 a.m. in the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy,” the Baton Rouge Police Department wrote in a statement on Facebook. They added: “The cause of death is unknown at this time as autopsy results are pending. This is an ongoing investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.” Police had launched a search on Friday, February 24, after he failed to show up at the property site to meet his working client.

Millard was never able to return to the hotel room that was located a two-minute walk from the bar. Josh, his business client, had stayed at the pub and reported that Millard left on foot around 11:30 p.m. m. to the hotel.
But, Millard did not show up when they were supposed to meet at the location the next morning at 8 am. By 9 am, the client had gone to the police and asked them to perform a wellness check on Millard. “He did not appear to have spent the night there,” hotel staff told police. According to Millard’s wife, Amber, his credit card was still used after she disappeared until she was able to freeze it.
Millard’s phone was discovered four blocks from the hotel, but his identification was missing, according to Kristen Harvey, search coordinator for Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer nonprofit search and rescue organization that was helping find Millard. Eventually, his wallet was also discovered, but his debit and credit cards were missing. The location where Millard’s body was found is about a seven-minute drive from Happy’s, FOX News reported.
