COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – A Colorado federal court sentenced a 23-year-old man to a record 20 years in prison for selling fentanyl pills. Nathaniel Corser pleaded guilty last August and admitted to selling two pills marked ‘M’ and ’30’ to Kaeden Norlander,

according to court documents. The teen was found dead in his bedroom the next day, July 5, after swallowing the two pills, which appeared to be prescription oxycodone pills. Investigation revealed that they contained fentanyl, leading to the immediate death of the 19-year-old. The drug deal took place at Cottonwood Creek Park in Colorado Springs.

“This is the longest sentence to date in a Colorado federal court for fentanyl distribution resulting in death, and it should send a loud and clear message to drug dealers and drug dealers.

Nathaniel Corser pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl to a 19-year-old

An autopsy conducted by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office revealed that the victim died of fentanyl poisoning. Police later traced the convict to Norlander’s phone, who had text messages with Corser about buying the pills that killed him. The officer used the victim’s phone to obtain another five pills from him.

Later, a test at the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Metro Crime Lab revealed that those five pills also contained fentanyl. Investigators searched Corser’s residence and found 1,089 dosage units of 30 mg morphine sulfate pills; 108 dosage units of 200 mcg Fentanyl Buccal tablets in manufacturer’s container. Two blue tablets marked ‘M’ and ’30’ containing fentanyl, a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol and a second loaded 9mm magazine were also found. Officers arrested him at his home on July 15.

In another unrelated case, Gangsta Boo was found dead at a concert in Memphis, Tennessee. According to reports, she overdosed on her brother that night and was hospitalized. The hospital later pronounced her dead while police investigated her death, which likely resulted from ingesting a substance laced with fentanyl, ABC News reports.
