Nurse Heather Pressdee accused of killing two patient

On November 19, 2022, the 55-year-old victim and the 83-year-old victim became ill while under Pressdee’s care. The third victim was in Pressdee’s care on August 31, 2022, when she was transported to the hospital with low blood sugar. He was treated and survived, according to the affidavit.

When police arrived at Pressdee’s home Wednesday and interviewed the suspect, she apparently admitted to injecting two of the victims with insulin. “He stated that he felt bad about their quality of life and that he expected them to simply go into a coma and pass away,” the investigators wrote in the affidavit.

For the surviving victim, Pressdee said that she “was in isolation for COVID and was having a very difficult time.” She told investigators that the night of August 31, 2022 “was a very busy night and he asked her to ‘kill’ him.” Pressdee also apparently spoke to her mother on the phone with authorities present and “informed her that she gave patients insulin who didn’t need it.”
