His death is not being treated as suspicious, police said. Lincolnshire Police undertook a major search effort, including calling on the local community to provide helpful dash cam footage as officers tried to trace his movements before the teen was last seen.

Underwater search teams and a police drone were also deployed to help with the ‘significant 24-hour effort’ to find the missing boy. Police said a file was now being prepared for the coroner to investigate the circumstances of the death. The officers also asked people “not to speculate on how or why” the teen died and said his family is being supported by specialist officers.
