A woman accused of killing a man in Washington County could be on the run in the Raleigh-Durham area, the county sheriff says. Washington County deputies are searching for Raven A. Williams , 30, of Edenton, who allegedly shot a man multiple times early Sunday morning inside a home in the Pea Ridge area of the county. They say Williams is considered armed and dangerous.

Washington County is about two hours east of Raleigh on the coast. A news release said officers responded to the home around 1:30 a.m. to find the man and issued an arrest warrant for Williams. The man’s name and his relationship to Williams have not been released.

Deputies say William was last seen riding in a white 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The license plate reads KWC-5656, according to a news release. Williams is charged with first-degree murder, and officers say more charges are pending as the investigation progresses.

Washington County Deputies were dispatched to the Pea Ridge area of Washington County where a subject was shot inside a residence. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.A suspect in the murder was quickly developed and a first degree murder warrant was obtained for Raven A Williams, a 30 year old black female from Edenton NC. She was last seen traveling in a white 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis color KCW-5656.

The suspect is believed to have possibly fled to the Raleigh/Durham area. Currently, the investigation is still ongoing and more charges are pending.
If you see her, do not approach the suspect, she is considered armed and dangerous at this time. Contact your local authorities.
