The teens were charged as adults due to the seriousness of the crime, even though they were 16 at the time of the murder and not subject to life in prison without mandatory parole. Today, Goodale is 18 and Miller is 17. Goodale had previously agreed to testify against Miller in his trial, which was scheduled to begin later in the week, KCRG reported.
Prosecutors, according to the report, said evidence shows that both Miller and Goodale struck Graber with a bat. Miller admitted to helping plan and carry out the murder, but denied hitting Graber. Goodale testified that Miller initiated the plan to kill Graber and they both beat her.
According to court documents, investigators reportedly said Miller met with Graber the day of the murder to discuss her failing grade in her class. Miller told police that he was frustrated with the way Graber taught Spanish and with the way her class grade resulted in a lower GPA.

After the meeting, Graber drove to a park where she used to go for a walk every day after school. Witnesses reported that her truck pulled out of the park less than an hour later with two men in the front seat. Later, her body was found hidden in the park, and the two teens were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and felony conspiracy.
Investigators have cited evidence from Goodale’s Snapchat history. In the Snapchat messages, Goodale revealed that they “were involved in the planning, execution, and disposal of evidence” in Graber’s murder. The Snapchat messages also reportedly reveal how the couple “surveilled” Graber and provided additional details about how they killed her, disposed of her body, and covered up the evidence.Read More……..
