WASHINGTON: Podcast host Zohreh Sadeghi and her husband Mohammed Naseri were shot and killed by a Texas trucker named Ramin Khodakaramrezaei on March 9, 2023, after scaling and breaking into their home.

At around 2 am, when the trucker broke into Sadeghi’s $1.6 million home, it is believed that there was an argument between the two, after which Khodakaramrezaei drew his gun and shot Sadeghi. Her husband, Naseri, heard gunshots and came to the room, where the truck driver also shot at him before turning the gun on himself. Sadeghi’s mother escaped and called 911, according to a KOMO report.

According to the outlet, when police arrived at Sadeghi’s home in Redmond, Washington, they found Naseri lying on the front lawn with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was given CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Sadeghi and Khodakaramrezaei were found dead inside the house.

Zohreh Sadeghi’s husband killed by a trucker

Sadeghi was a pretty prominent podcaster. He has a huge fan base with whom he shares and promotes Indian holistic medicine. According to Redmond police, Khodakaramrezaei was listening to Sadeghi and became so obsessed with her that he began harassing her so much that the podcaster filed a restraining order against her.

It is still unclear how Khodakaramrezaei made the trip to Sadeghi’s house. It is not known if she was in the area or if she drove from Texas to Washington just to attack her. Redmond police could not confirm if the driver had a criminal record or if he obtained the gun from her legally.

Redmond police spokeswoman Jill Green told NBC News the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after harassing the podcaster for “many months.” “Apparently he met her from a podcast she was doing, they kind of got friendly and talked about her. But he then he started texting a lot to the point where she decided to go offline and talk to us. and our investigators on how to obtain a restraining order,” Green said.Read More….
