Clarice Alexander Wiki – Clarice Alexander Biography
HANOVER PARK, Ill. (WLS) – A family is heartbroken after a mother of seven was shot and killed in Hanover Park earlier this week. Family members say Clarice Alexander had just dropped her son off at school before he was shot by someone she knew before escaping. “I hope you feel guilty about what you did,” said Alexander’s sister, Chianni Hopkins. Hopkins said she was on the phone with her sister as Alexander dropped her son off at school Monday morning.
It was via phone call that Hopkins said she heard the concern in her sister’s voice. That’s when Hopkins said her sister saw a man she knew who was apparently harassing her. “She said: ‘Why did she rush me?’ And she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is him. I’ll call you back,'” Hopkins recalls. But, Alexander never called back. “She was gone in those five minutes,” Hopkins said.

He said she turned the video over to Hanover Park police, who told her not to make it public. This, as Hopkins said, her sister called the police on the man multiple times in the past, including the night before his life was taken. “She still had to call the police on him that night. He killed her the next morning,” Hopkins said.
The shooter remains on the run as the family grapples with this sudden and tragic loss. “I’m sorry we all let you down because we all knew something was wrong. We just didn’t think it would end like this,” Hopkins said. ABC7 has reached out to Hanover Park Police for an update on this investigation as they continue to search for the suspect, but have yet to hear back.Read More…..
