PHILADELPHIA: Dhalsim Jackson Mayes a Philadelphia man, was killed in a shootout where he took 70 bullets on his front porch. The incident was reported to the police and when Mayes arrived she was found lying on his porch.

The shooting took place on Saturday, March 11, 2023, shortly before midnight in the 3400 block of North 16 Street in the Tioga neighborhood, according to Philadelphia police. The incident was reported to the police, and after rushing to the scene, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. After the shooting, he was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:49 p.m. m., according to a Fox News report.

Police identified the victim as Jackson Mayes, 25, on Monday, March 12, 2023. Mayes sustained more than 70 gunshot wounds while standing on his front porch, according to a FOX 29 report.

The Homicide Detective Division is actively investigating the case, but at present, limited information is available. Despite searching the crime scene, no murder weapon has been found and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
