A husband of 40 years faces capital murder charges in Arkansas after his wife, a doctor who called 911 in mid-April, was found in the street outside their home with a knife to her neck. Jail records reviewed by Law & Crime show that Marcus Joiner was initially booked on April 20 in the case. The defendant, who is 6’4″ and weighs 223 pounds, is scheduled to appear in court next May 22 for an arraignment in the capital murder case, according to Washington County Circuit Court records.
