Police officers in Kentucky are currently searching for the woman and have warned the community to look for a white Chevrolet with the Kentucky license plate A9Z280, according to WLKY.

The grandmother reportedly ran over Campbell with her white Chevrolet Trailblazer at the Motel 6 on Hospitality Way in Jeffersonville on June 16, WRTB reported. The publication also mentioned that Tesch was seen fleeing the scene on surveillance video before her granddaughter was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Charges on Lisa Tesch

Tesch is a 51-year-old woman who has been charged with fatally injuring her young granddaughter during a hit-and-run in Jeffersonville, Kentucky, on June 16. She reportedly fled the scene after the incident and has been dubbed “armed and dangerous” by the Kentucky Police Department. The fugitive reportedly has a criminal record, including prior charges of reckless driving, fleeing from police and drug possession, according to WDRB.

Campbell’s mother, Cheyenne Allen, told WLKY that the girl ran to her grandmother’s car and pulled into the motel parking lot just after her boyfriend answered the door. “I have no idea what to do, I’m fucking lost right now. I never thought I would feel this pain, it’s so unreal I wish I could restart today again, f*ck life is so fucking unfair,” the grieving mother wrote on Facebook. Meanwhile, a probable cause affidavit indicated that Campbell allegedly ran to Tesch’s car “out of the excitement of seeing her grandmother.”

In the aftermath of the tragic incident, Heather Tomlin launched a GoFundMe fundraiser on behalf of Charles Allen for 18-month-old Campbell’s funeral. “A tragedy has taken the life of our precious little angel Eleanor (Beany). On June 16, our precious baby boy was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Our family is devastated by this sudden and tragic loss of this little girl,” the page read. “This heartbreaking time has changed us forever. It is with a heavy heart that we come to you to ask for contributions as we are raising funds to pay for the funeral expenses. We would be very grateful for your help in our time of need.
