NEVADA: A wanted Las Vegas woman was taken back into police custody on Friday, May 12 after she commented on a news post shared on Facebook regarding her case. With seven DUI arrests, Marion Reyes asked for help finding the fugitive.
A day after police issued an alert accusing her of cutting her ankle monitor, the 36-year-old woman turned herself in to the Las Vegas police traffic bureau. In a News 8 story about her case posted on social media, Reyes commented, “I never cut it off!!! An officer cut it off when I turned myself in. They kept releasing me.”

Marion Reyes arrested after commenting on a post
In response to Reyes’ comment, the Las Vegas Traffic Bureau responded with her own comment. “So why not deliver now? Let’s fix this tonight,” the office comment read. The wanted woman appeared to have taken her advice and spoke to an intervention officer on Thursday night, May 11. On Friday, May 12, Reyes turned himself in to police, according to authorities, the New York Post reported.
In connection with a felony DUI program, the Nevada woman missed a court date and was later ordered by a judge to spend two days behind bars, News 8 reported. Following a plea deal for her DUI arrest in October, which was his seventh since 2007, the last three DUI charges against him were reduced to one. According to court records, Reyens was also allowed to attend a treatment program.
Prior to the plea agreement, prosecutors cited her previous arrests and argued that she is being held on $50,000 bail. The woman who now turned herself in to the authorities is required to have a device in her car and must comply with home confinement for six months. The device would prevent him from driving her vehicle while intoxicated. Under the plea agreement, another DUI charge against Reyes would result in her being sent to prison, News 8 reported.
