Michael Gabriszeski Wiki – Michael Gabriszeski Biography
A father who found Rachel Morin’s body in a tunnel has revealed chilling details about the discovery, as police say they received 90 tips from the public about her death. Michael Gabriszeski, whose 37-year-old daughter was a friend of Rachel’s, joined the search and called police when he discovered her body in a tunnel drain on the Ma and Pa Trail in Maryland.
The way the body of the mother of five was found prompted police to launch a homicide investigation, even before the formal identification of her body was completed. Speaking about the search efforts for him, local Michael Gabriszeski told WMAR: ‘I got out and searched the tunnels because I had a feeling about these tunnels. And I walked forward to search the only tunnel, and they searched the only tunnel, and that’s where they found it.
‘[I hope she can] find a final resting place in her family so that door can finally be closed. [Then] they can launch the investigation and hopefully catch the person who did this petty act. In the meantime, the police have reached out for images of the people who were on the road over the weekend. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a statement yesterday: “Detectives are asking for her help.
‘If she was on the Ma & Pa Trail on Saturday, or near the trail or trailheads and took photos or video, we ask that you share them with investigators. ‘There might be something useful in one of your photos that could bring us one more piece of the puzzle.’As of this morning, we have already received nearly 90 tips from concerned community members in reference to the murder of Rachel Morin. Thank you for all the support she has given me.’ Yesterday it was formally confirmed that the body was indeed Rachel’s.

Michael Gabriszeski who found body
Officials with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office in Bel Air, about 45 miles north of Baltimore, said they have no leads yet on possible suspects. A member of the public, Gabriszeski, discovered the body of a woman on the Ma and Pa trail Sunday afternoon. “This afternoon, we received confirmation from the state medical examiner that the body recovered was that of Rachel Morin,” a Harford County Sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
But she added that investigators have yet to identify any possible suspects in her slaying and renewed the request for new leads. “We are asking people that if they have information to please stop and turn it over to the sheriff’s office instead of discussing it on social media,” the spokeswoman said. Local police declined to comment on how Morin died or the type of injuries she sustained.
It comes after her new boyfriend took to social media to insist that she had nothing to do with her murder despite her criminal past. The couple only made their relationship official on social media four days earlier. The medical examiner has not yet revealed how Morin died, but a homicide investigation has been launched. Her family says she did not “go voluntarily” and that her death “was not accidental.” As questions arose about the woman’s death on Sunday, Tobin took to social media to insist she had nothing to do with it.
‘I love Rachel. She would never do anything to him, she would let the family and I cry. Yes, I have a past but I also have 15 months clean and I have changed as a person. Please.’ Tobin has been arrested 14 times since 2014 on a variety of charges including drug trafficking, assault, disorderly conduct and refusing to be arrested.
His extensive rap sheet includes two arrests for second degree criminal assault, violation of restraining orders, drug possession and malicious destruction of property. Tobin also has a series of traffic offenses, a felony fugitive from justice, resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication and conduct marks on his record, the documents show. His most recent recorded misdemeanor, second degree assault, occurred on March 14, 2020.
In an update to his statement Sunday, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said: “Approximately 1:07 p.m. m., a deceased woman was located on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
We strongly believe that this is the body of Rachel Morin. But that final determination belongs to the medical examiner and that hasn’t happened yet. “Fortunately, we don’t have a lot of violent crime in Harford County, but when we do, I’d rather be here and tell them the suspect has been arrested or it’s a targeted crime.
‘I can’t tell you that is the case.’ ‘I’m not going to go into what, physically, they observed at the scene. But investigators believe sadly that it’s a homicide case.’ Just days before her disappearance and death, Rachel shared snaps of her and her new boyfriend Richard. She wrote, along with two smiley images: ‘Only started taking pics few weeks ago.. but these are a few of my favorites. From the beach to the mountains.’
Morin was only 5ft 2in and weighed just 107lbs. She was last seen wearing a blue or black tank top, black sports bra, black spandex shorts and grey sneakers. Her car was also located at the Williams Street entrance to the trail. Read More……..
