The 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to death at a birthday party on Saturday night has been photographed.Mikey Roynon, 16, known locally as aspiring rapper ‘YM’, was attacked during the party which locals say was mowed down by a crowd of 200 after being announced on social media.

His injuries were so severe that he died at the scene of a single stab wound at the house in the leafy suburb of Weston, near Bath, just after 11pm on Saturday. A 35-year-old woman who was also injured during the attack was later released from the Royal United Hospital.

Three boys, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old from Wiltshire and a 15-year-old from Dorset, remain in police custody and are continuing to be questioned by detectives. Detective Inspector Mark Newbury, of the Major Crimes Investigation Team, said on Monday: “Mikey’s family have been made aware of these developments and our thoughts remain with them as they come to terms with the loss of him.”
