Wisconsin authorities are searching for the man who allegedly set his girlfriend on fire after saying he would kill her, her children and her entire family. Her name is Myron Faith Bowie. He should be considered armed and dangerous, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said.

Deputies and the Village Fire Department in Salem Lakes responded to a home in the 24500 block of 86th Place at 4:47 a.m. Sunday. The caller said her boyfriend set him on fire and he needed help. “The victim was transported to an area hospital with severe burns,” deputies said.

He is a fugitive, agents said.

Coultrip said authorities have asked the local Kenosha and Milwaukee area to be vigilant, but they are paying special attention to the Chicago metropolitan area. “Myron has been known to stay in the Chicago, Logan Square and Wicker Park area,” they said. “Myron is a black male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall and approximately 200 pounds.”

The sheriff’s department believes he is driving a black Cadillac SRX with Illinois registration DQ46996. Friends described the woman as devoted to her children, according to WISN. She was about to start a new job. Ricky Matthews, a neighbor who was severely burned in a car accident, recommended that she continue with a strong support system. “She just has to pray with her family,” he told the outlet. “They have to be with her.
