Seb found his true calling in the fast-paced world of racing cars and pursued a career as a professional racing driver. According to the Scottish boy, his passion for motorsport was influenced by his godfather, Dario Franchitti, a four-time Indycar champion and three-time Indy500 winner. His grandfather also influenced his life and nurtured his love of “all things racing” by giving him behind-the-scenes experience with Aston Martin engineers.

He started his racing career in 2014, taking part in the Scottish Formula Ford Championship. During this particular race, Seb received the Rising Star award. At 16, he was the youngest driver to reach the Formula Ford Festival Finale and the Walter Hayes Trophy. He accomplished phenomenal feats during his first year as a racing driver. In 2020, he signed with Porsche to compete in the Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Championship in Great Britain for In2Racing.

In an interview for ESMS a few years ago, the racer revealed that his ultimate goal was to become an IndyCar driver in the US.
