According to San Francisco prosecutors, a nude California woman who opened fire on passing cars on the Bay Bridge last week has been charged with assault with a semi-automatic pistol and other crimes. Sequoia Dunkinsell, a Sacramento resident, is accused of shooting into busy afternoon traffic on July 25, ABC7 News reported.

The shooting near the tollbooth briefly disrupted all eastbound lanes of Interstate 80. Dunkinsell is accused of shooting passengers and into the air, causing a traffic jam. The California Highway Patrol pulled her over about an hour and a half after the shooting began. No injuries were reported

Sequoia Dunkinsell, 32, got out of her vehicle naked and opened fire on passing vehicles on Interstate 80 near the Bay Bridge toll plaza last week. According to San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, Dunkinsell was charged with uttering criminal threats, firing at a compromised vehicle, three counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, one count of negligent discharge of a firearm, four counts brandishing a firearm, one count of having a loaded firearm in possession, and one count of reckless driving.
Dunkinsell pleaded not guilty to all charges on Tuesday, August 1, when he appeared in court for his arraignment.

On July 25, travelers on the Bay Bridge called 911 around 4:40 p.m. m. to report that someone was driving a vehicle carelessly in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver stopped on the bridge, got out, brandished a knife and yelled at other drivers.

Dunkinsell allegedly got back into the vehicle, but quickly stopped by the toll booth. She then got out of the car naked holding a revolver and began shooting into the air and at other cars, the CHP stated. Dunkinsell was pulled over near the Interstate 880 transition before 6 p.m. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 11. According to the district attorney’s office, Dunkinsell is now in prison and the court did not set bail. She can spend more than 22 years in state prison if she is found guilty on all charges.Read More……..
